Clear sources, exact models and visible limitations are the basis of our catalog.
How we research a product
- Match the complete model name, US region and configuration. A bundle, expansion battery or later generation can have different specifications.
- Check manufacturer specifications and manuals, and record the source URL and check date.
- Compare nominal capacity in watt-hours, continuous output in watts, and carrying weight in kilograms and pounds. Boost and surge ratings are not interchangeable with continuous output.
- Flag conflicting sources and leave the disputed field unverified. Read each product’s detailed caveats before buying.
Research is not a field test
We have not hands-on tested the products in this catalog. Runtime examples use stated assumptions rather than measured performance. Merchant stock, prices, shipping, warranty and returns must be checked at the destination before purchase.
Calculator assumptions
Runtime = capacity × (1 − reserve) ÷ (device load ÷ efficiency + inverter idle draw). Efficiency applies to device conversion losses; idle draw is measured at the battery. The tool assumes a constant load and no solar input. It does not establish surge compatibility or model changing temperature, battery age or cycling loads.
Updates and corrections
We plan monthly source and destination checks, with guide reviews when products or assumptions change. A check date records the last review; it is not a promise that specifications or availability cannot change. Send a correction with the product name, disputed claim and manufacturer evidence to info@theoutdoorgeek.com.
